WARRANTY ON INTERNATIONAL SPAS

SHELL

12 years
A spa shell is defined as the shell below the surface finish. The spa shell is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and maintenance for twelve years. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only. The spa shell is warranted to be structurally sound and water-fast throughout the warranty period. Under the terms of the warranty Artesian Spas has the option to repair or replace the shell at its sole discretion.

If the problems are due to functional defect and the spa shell needs to be replaced, the dealer must remove all electrical equipment and return the equipment to the manufacturer. It will be the spa owner's responsibility to discard the shell. The manufacturer is not responsible for transportation or set-up of the new spa. In the unlikely event of shell/spa replacement, all warranties (shell, surface, equipment, and plumbing) date back to the original date of delivery.

The new spa assumes all warranties left under the terms of the original warranty in effect at the time of the original delivery date.

If it is deemed necessary to file a shell claim under this warranty, the dealer must supply the Artesian Customer Care Department with the following information: Spa Serial Number, Date of Delivery, Spa Model, pictures of damaged area, and pictures of the foundation on which the spa sits.

 

SURFACE WARRANTY

5 Years

The spa surface is defined as the exposed material finish. Artesian Spas warrants the spa surface to be free from defects in the material and workmanship under normal use and maintenance for a period of five years from the original date of delivery.

This warranty is valid to the original purchaser only. The spa must be set on a level cement slab and/or a level deck surface that is sufficient to support the entire length and width of the spa (see your local building codes). Standard building practices must be followed. Damage caused by failure to adequately support the spa is not covered. Artesian Spas does not warrant problems associated with prolonged exposure to sunlight, problems caused by installing the spa on an unstable surface, or damage caused by use of a sanitation or ozone system not approved by the manufacturer. Any alteration to any system either electrical, plumbing, or mechanical, inadequate over use of chemicals, or any other problem caused by an external source are not covered under warranty. Other exclusions may apply.

Problems associated with material and workmanship can and will be fixed. If the spa surface is repaired, the repair is limited to the affected area only, and there is no guarantee against discoloration or fading. The decision to repair or to replace the spa will be made by Artesian Spas and its field representative after a review of the facts and pictures of the problem or any other data given to Artesian Spas by the original dealer or customer. In all cases, pictures of the affected area and foundation of the spa must be provided before any decisions to repair or replace are made. In the unlikely event of a spa replacement, all warranties (shell, acrylic, equipment, and plumbing) date back to the original date of delivery. If it is determined that the shell is to be replaced, the same conditions and terms as outlined in the shell warranty section apply.

If it is deemed necessary to file a shell warranty claim under this warranty, the dealer must supply the Artesian Customer Care Department with the following information: Spa Serial Number, Date of Delivery, Spa Model, pictures of damaged area, and pictures of the foundation on which the spa sits.

 

ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT

3 Years

Artesian Spas warrants all factory installed components except ozonator, light bulbs, stereos, fiberoptic lights, fuses to be free from defect in material and workmanship for a period of three years. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only.

The warranty on ozonators, stereos (including speakers and power supplies), and fiber optic boxes are covered for one year. Fuses and light bulbs are guaranteed to work upon delivery but do not carry any warranty thereafter.

 

PLUMBING

3 Years

Artesian Spas warrants the plumbing to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of three years from date of delivery. This warranty does not cover filters. Filters are guaranteed to be free from defects upon delivery but do not carry a warranty thereafter.

 

ITEMS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY

The following list is a general overview of non-warranted items and work. This list includes but is not limited to:
Diagnoses of the spa
Fuses
Light Bulbs
Chemical Misuse
Removal of spa from a structure
Acts of Nature
Pillows
Filters
Travel Charges

The work has to be done by the dealer without payment from Artesian Spas or the Distributor. Any alterations made to a spa that have not been pre-approved by Artesian Spas will void the spas warranties.
